Choose your career path with confidence — before you choose a country
Most students pick a country first, then a course, then realise the career fit was wrong. ESM flips it: we map your interests, aptitude, and target salary first — then point you at the right course and the right country. 18 years of guiding 5,000+ Indian students through exactly this decision.

What you actually get from an ESM career counselling session
This isn't a 20-minute brochure chat. It's a structured, multi-touch engagement that ends with concrete recommendations you can act on.
Personalised career roadmap
A written PDF with your recommended career direction, study path, target country, and 1/3/5-year milestones — not a generic checklist.
Psychometric & aptitude assessment
Validated tools (not free online quizzes) that map your interests, work-style, and cognitive strengths to suitable career clusters.
Country comparison matrix
USA vs UK vs Canada vs Australia vs NZ vs Singapore, scored on your goals, budget, and PR/career intentions — with rationale.
Course & university shortlist
5–10 specific course-university combinations, ranked by fit, cost, employability, and admission probability based on your profile.
Salary & ROI projections
Realistic post-graduation salary ranges by country/role and a total-cost vs 5-year-earnings ROI calculation per shortlisted path.
Ongoing WhatsApp support
Direct line to your counsellor for follow-up questions during your research and decision-making phase — not "submit a ticket".
Career counselling insights
How we think about career choice, country selection, and study-abroad ROI — from our Chandigarh team.

Counselling built on 18 years of overseas placement
Most career counsellors give you a personality test and a generic list. ESM's counsellors have personally placed 5,000+ Indian students into overseas universities since 2008 — so the advice you get is grounded in real outcomes, not theory.
We know which courses lead to PR in Canada, which UK universities sponsor work visas, what NUS actually wants in an SOP, and when an Australian Master's makes more financial sense than a US one. That domain depth is what separates strategic counselling from generic guidance.
18 years of overseas-only focus
We don't do generic career counselling. Every session is grounded in real placement outcomes from study-abroad markets we work in daily.
Country-specific market knowledge
We know which Canadian provinces favour which courses for PR, which UK universities sponsor Skilled Worker visas, which US states have strong Indian alumni networks.
Counsellors who've placed 5K+ students
Not interns reading from a script. Our senior counsellors have personally shepherded thousands of cases from first chat to landed visa.
Honest about constraints
If your budget can't support Ivy League, we'll say so. If your grades won't make it past US top 50, we'll say so. No false hope.
Free first session, no obligation
We don't believe in charging just to talk. Come in, get our honest read on your profile, then decide if you want to work with us.
Walk-in office in Chandigarh
SCO 375-376, Sector 35B. Walk in Mon–Sat 9:30 AM–6:00 PM, or book a video call if you're outside Chandigarh.
How an ESM career counselling engagement actually unfolds
This is the structured path. Free first session is genuinely free — we earn the rest of the engagement by being useful in that first hour.
Discovery call (60–90 min, FREE)
We sit with you and your family (in person at Chandigarh, or video call). We map your academic record, interests, budget, family constraints, and what "success" looks like for you. No tests, no scripts — just a real conversation.
Psychometric & aptitude assessment
Industry-validated assessments to confirm or challenge what came out of the discovery call. We send you a written report mapping your profile to suitable career clusters with honest commentary.
Career → Country → Course mapping
Now the real work. We build a comparison matrix of 2–4 country options against your career goals, then narrow to 5–10 specific course-university combinations with rationale, ROI estimates, and admission probability.
Ongoing course correction
You'll research, ask questions, talk to seniors, reconsider. We stay engaged on WhatsApp through that phase — updating the plan as your thinking sharpens. The roadmap document gets revised as you go.

Career counselling makes sense if you’re...
Most clients fall into one of these four situations. If yours doesn’t fit cleanly, that’s fine too — the first session is free, come talk.
A Class 12 student or parent
Choosing between Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or Design at the undergraduate level — and weighing Indian universities vs. starting abroad straight from school.
An engineering or graduating student
Wondering whether to take an Indian job, pursue MS in the USA, do an MSc in the UK, or aim for a Canadian PR-friendly Master’s — and how to choose between them.
A working professional with 2–7 yrs experience
Considering an MBA, MS, or specialised Master’s abroad — needing help to compare ROI vs. continuing in India, and to align the move with your long-term career trajectory.
A parent caught in the middle
Your child has strong opinions, relatives are giving conflicting advice, and you want an independent expert opinion — one that respects your budget and your child’s ambitions equally.
